Christianity

So, i getta start on the new blog i guess..

hmmm well i think that i'd rather talk about stuff inside christianity, and not about christianity becuase plausible or whether it is absolute in the first place.. hmm but anyway all i've gotta say is many of these things we will never be able to understand, for example what ivan said, that even when Jesus came, pple still didn't believe. it's all about faith.

i remembered last time LT JAY said that it's just like we're in a 2-dimensional world, and God is 3-dimensional.. in a 2-d world, when you look at something 3-d, it'll always appear 2-d to you, which is why we can't understand.. God's is so much more greater than our understanding.. We've gotta exercise our faith in believing him. I remembered our brother Terry, once told me.. that now, he's not looking for the experience in Christ, but the evidence.. He says if he can find evidence that Christ really is the son of God, and that Jesus really rose from the dead, then he would become a pastor, cause he said there's nothing else to live for but Christ. But come to think of it now, is it possible to find historical evidence whether Christ have resurrected etc. ? because there will always be many refuttals over all the evidences, and even if there are evidences to make us 100000 percent sure of God, do we want to be the disciple Thomas?

For it says in John 20:29 Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed."

Oh btw all my bible quoutes are NKJV, i've converted. :)

But yet this brings me to another pt LT JAY ma man talked about, about God giving us enough to exercise our faith and believe him, but not too much until we have no choice but to believe in him, where our freedom of choice is gone.

John 20:27
Then He said to Thomas, "Reach your finger here, and look at My hands; and reach your hand here, and put it into My side. Do not be unbelieving, but believing."

[NIV]
Then he said to Thomas, "Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe."

God actually instructed Thomas to believe.. i hope you can see my source of confusion.. yup, and Ivan you said God chosed who to show himself to, i don't really understand.. Has God shown himself to me? but right now, i just now i believe God with faith, and to really grow in the WORD.

BTW, i like NKJV, the verse which Ivan quoted, i think the meaning is better in NKJV

I don't think our faith is baseless, because we have the Word, and also our relationship with Christ. The closer we are to God, the stronger our faith(correct me if i'm wrong)

Hebrews 11:1
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen

I think it's all about faith man, i believe that to God, a person who believes in God with faith, and a similar person who goes through lots of deep stuff, like apologetics and theology and then believes with faith, both are equal in his eyes. Erm i'm not saying apologetics is useless, or like what's the pt of it, in fact i'm really interested in it.. What i think i'm saying is that we just gotta believe man.. and to exercise our faith, not live on dead faith. and dead faith will just lead us to another topic, but i'll stop for now..

May God reign in our hearts, then our wives(one person one wife), LIVERPOOL FOOTBALL CLUB,owning a ranch, Travelling, holidaying, jazz, Timberwolves, Yankees, pamily and priends.
